We have a very wide network of international professional education colleagues who are keen to work with professionals from the UK. In providing these opportunities we can work at any scale and have previously worked with groups from Local Authorities, from groups of Academies, from clusters of schools, from individual schools and – on occasion – with individuals. In most cases we propose the destination and draft the programme. In some cases groups of participants have already identified their international contact and simply want help with logistics, or additional access in the destination, perhaps to other schools or to an education ministry. We can work to provide this.
If a group or an individual school head is uncertain of the most appropriate programme development route, HTI has a twenty five year track record of working with schools and colleges to identify the development needs of the school workforce and designing development activities for them. HTI uses a highly effective consultancy process known as 3D to identify, design and deliver development opportunities to suit your specific needs.
Remember also that through the use of low cost airlines and modest – though comfortable – accommodation an international professional experience for the school team may actually work out cheaper than a comparable length experience in the UK. For a Head seeking to reinvigorate the enthusiasm of their staff, an international professional experience is almost always highly effective.
