Study Visits

We offer a range of study visits. These are usually last from one to two weeks and may take place either in term time or school holidays. Visits are of two main kinds, either being designed to enhance classroom practice, or to develop understanding of school leadership. However, there is no restriction on applications (beyond the requirement that applicants are professionally involved in education) so there is some potential to adjust the focus of the visit in the light of the experience of the participants.

If you are in doubt about the suitability of the programme for your needs, please get in touch and we are happy to offer advice.

We are also very happy to design programmes around the requirements of a group of applicants, for example from schools in a local cluster.

Please bear in mind, however, that the vast majority of participants discover that it is often the unexpected experience which turns out to be the most valuable. Without any doubt the most important thing to take with you on an international professional visit is an open mind!
