A group of us in our school want to look at a particular theme or topic. Can you arrange a visit for us to a suitable location?

Almost certainly. Please get in touch so that we can discuss possibilities.

We think another destination is better than one you propose. Can you arrange a visit to a destination we nominate?

Probably, but it will depend on what information you have about the professional education potential of the destination you want to visit.

I don’t want to travel with a group, but I want to go on my own. Can you arrange a programme for me?

Yes, but it will almost certainly cost quite a lot more than working with a group. We wouldn’t really recommend it, because you lose the learning that comes from working in a group.

Can I take a family member with me? They will be able to look after themselves most of the time.

These are professional visits and having a family member along at the same time (even if they spend most of the time away from the group) means that the focus of the participant may be on other things. There are also difficulties when the host lays on any hospitality arrangements. For these reasons we cannot agree this.

What does the payment cover?

Written background information
Flights from a UK airport or Eurostar from London
Bed and breakfast accommodation in a 3-star hotel (or equivalent). Prices will be quoted for single and for twin share accommodation
A full professional education programme in the destination location
Transport related to the professional programme whilst in the destination country
Travel insurance
Visas where the destination country are requires them for UK passport holders

What will I have to pay for?

Travel to and from the departure airport within the UK
Lunch and dinner whilst on the visit (although some visited schools supply lunch)
Any travel unrelated to the professional programme
Small gifts for host schools
