Leadership Visits

Study visits on the theme of leadership are suitable for all leaders and aspiring leaders in schools. They take place to a range of countries where interesting practice can be observed. Some visits have a general leadership focus; others will concentrate on particular aspects of the leadership role, e.g. community leadership; students as leaders.
Study visits normally take place in a small group, and the programme includes visits to a range of schools and other appropriate organsisations depending on the theme, as well as inputs and thematic visits to education leaders e.g. Boards of Governors; Education Ministries (local or national); local politicians; School Leaders’ Associations etc. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their concepts of leadership as well as support their schools in developing a global dimension and develop community cohesion.
All participants on leadership visits are invited to join our ‘Global Leaders’ network’ which includes leaders from host countries.
